MOJO Magazine - part 2

Quote for today - Got my mojo working..But it uh uh - just won't work on you - Muddy Waters.

More about MOJO magazine and it's contents....

Yesterday I discussed All Back To My Place, today lets look at the other monthly feature....
1) Hello Goodbye - this looks at a departed (not dead) member of a band that left that band for the reasons discussed in this section. The beat part about this is that they alwats include a picture of that artist as he/she looks today. Sometimes time & the road have not been as kind as they could have been. This months person was Hamish Stewart from AWB.

2) Filter Reissues - As well as serious reviews of current releases they have a complete section dealing with re-issues. Now you may think why look back - today's technology has enabled recording engineers to be able to re-master old records. For those of a certain age like myself I go to these reviews first before the new releases.

3) Real Gone - Obituaries of those musicians who have left us. Included is a subsection called They Also Served for those who were not quite as famous as those in Real Gone. This section can also reflect on DJ's Roadies & Engineers. Maybe when it's my time you may find me there for my contribution to roadieing Jethro Tull, Ten Years After etc...

4) Theories, Rants & Raves - Letters from Readers. enough said.

5) Ask Fred - Got a nagging questio0n? ask away because our man Fred Dellar has the answer.... most of the time. This would be my dream job + having access to all the archives that MOJO must have. Oh Boy!

Last comment on this there is Fast Tracks -  MOJO's Top Ten & Readers Top Ten Every R&R  rag has to have a list of some sort, but this one includes the readers - what as trange lot they are!!!
