We (Ricki & I) are on the move. The new place is empty, the painters are in there preparing the walls & ceilings and the next thing for us to do is decide on a color scheme. Some of the furniture from the old house (next door- by the way) is going into our new digs, the rest is being shipped from our storage unit. By January we will be moved in, nothing will be in the right place but we will be moved in!
Whats the worst thing about moving? The physical moving, the deciding where everything is to go, the dread of "What if it does not fit", or maybe the WORST "Why on earth did we decide to do this". By the time the last question is asked IT'S TOO DAMN LATE! So we have put in as much thought about the impending move as we possibly can - until the NEXT thing comes up. If it was not raining like cats & dogs today I would have included a picture of the, soon to be, new R & R house.
Because it is almost winter here on the East End, and the village closes down until February - we will have plenty to keep us busy and enough to do to interfere with the usual Winter thoughts of "how are we going to last with out going mad" or worse "staying sane".
